During the 2008 Legislative Session the Senate amended several Florida Statutes. Those amendments include but are not limited to claims for special equity, defining the terms "parenting plan"; "parenting plan recommendation"; and "time-share schedule"; deleting definitions of the terms "custodial parent" and "non-custodial parent" and the elimination of the use of the terms "shared parental responsibility and primary/seconday custody". On July 1, 2008 Clifton Gorenflo was added to the Appellate Mediation Civil/Family List of Approved Mediators for the Fifth District Court of Appeal. On July 18, 2008 Clifton Gorenflo become certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit Mediator.
